Age Divisions

Each Fall, the top 120 students in each of three age divisions travel from around the country for four days of faith, fun and fellowship.

The Schedule

Opening Ceremony

Day 1

Opening Ceremony

Check-in – Families register by division and receive a brief orientation about the venue and program.
Fun – Contestants meet for the annual National Bible Bee Competition Games.
Opening Ceremony – Each contestant is honored on stage with a special medal.

Preliminary Round

Day 2

Preliminary Round

The Preliminary Round is divided into two parts:

The Multiple Choice Test
A few days before the competition begins, contestants complete a multiple-choice test from home.

The Oral Recitation
On Day #2 of the competition, each participant has a timed recitation of several Bible passages. Recitations are scored for accuracy.

The combined score from both the Multiple Choice Test and the Oral Recitation determines who progresses to the next round.

Semi-Final Round

Semi-Final Round

The top 15 contestants in each age division compete in Scripture recitations and Bible knowledge questions. Each participant in the semifinals receives a portion of the prize money.

The top 5 contestants in each age division face off in a head-to-head competition. The winners in each division receive:
